Guest users: If you used Recipify without creating an account, your data is stored only on your device. Simply uninstall the app to remove all local data — no request needed.
How to request deletion
- Enter the email address associated with your Recipify account below.
- Select what you would like deleted — your full account, or specific data only.
- Click Send Request. Your email app will open with a pre-filled message addressed to our support team.
- Send the email. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your email address and account credentials
- Your display name and profile information
- All saved recipes in your library
- All collections you have created
- Any recipes you have shared with others
What is retained and why
Recipify may retain a minimal subset of data beyond your deletion request only where required by law:
- Transaction or billing records, if any, for the period required by applicable tax or financial regulations
- Abuse or security incident logs sufficient to prevent repeated violations, retained for no longer than 90 days
Camera images submitted for recipe scanning are never stored — they are processed in transit and discarded immediately. There is nothing to delete.
